Wonderful 🥰 great service in so many ways oriented towards their guests.
But the highlight is definitiv the Forest Spa. Best reward after a long hike up the spectaculos Alps to enjoy a large, comfortable sauna up in the trees looking up the mountains.
Had dinner in the restaurant. Good local food and friendly service. Nice family atmosphere.
- Very clean. Warm and friendly staff (even if I speak funny German!!).
- Cleaning staff super efficient, good attention to detail.
- A very impressive kitchen team that really understands food and how to treat and cook it well! For dinner, salad buffet was small but very fresh and well put together. They make good eggs--with soft, creamy yolks! Soups are made fresh and from scratch (not out of a can).
- Breakfast had great variety. Soft, creamy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, good selection of fruit, cereal, homemade marmalades, cheese and wurst.
- This is a very accommodating hotel for dogs. There is a separate dining room for guests who bring their dogs along during mealtimes. Private beach area by the Hintersee where dogs can run free and swim. Schnappi spent every day in the water!
